You still playing AA?

We have been a moving band of brothers for awhile.

Current game list would be Heroes of Newerth, BattleField Bad Company 2, and Alien Swarm. Some play others games too but for the most part those are the current 3.

Anything new in your world?

WTH you guys almost upset the soccer world cup. (Didnt even think you guys knew what soccer was.) lol jokes jokes...

Urg man Games...weird and wonderfull stuff.
When AA3 was a global ballsup, we moved to COD MW2.
It was a hoot until ppl figured out that its easier to sit in one place and wait for ppl to run past you.
Then a part of the clan started playing BFBC2. The game never really grabbed me. (Sux Ass to be honest.)

I am currently seperated from my wife and might be moving, so no fixed line for me.
So I use my cell. Lag is endless and bandwidth costs an arm and a leg.
So now a couple of us started playing Dark Age Of Camelot.
See you have a War Hammer channel, made by the same ppl.

Anyways it uses just about 0 bandwidth, playing for 3 hours leaves me 10Megs out. lol.
MMM what else is there.

Oh we have GRID Saturdays, which work well.
Some of us was playing Ghost Recon, but servers are empty all the time.

What was that, you guys are jumping games? LOL
Oh boy and don't forget about trackmania.

Funny enough with all the game jumping and ppl playing all sorts of games, we're going onto year 2 next month and still over 30 playing members strong.

Bah now you know my whole life story.

And that's how you catch up a years absence.

We felt the same about AA3, so none of us even play the AAs anymore with the exception of myself. I will rarely play AA 2.8.5, but that's maybe once every 2-3 months, lol.

For the most part we're all playing Heros of Newerth and BFBC2.

Some play Warhammer and a couple are playing Left 4 Dead, but that's pretty much about it.

We have, I don't know, 15 players that play regularly with us. *shrug*

Yeah my guys have now really gotten pissed off with BFBC2.
The guys have now learnt the objective spam positions, so assault guys would sit in a protected zone in a tank and destroy objectives and defense can do nothing about it.
So for one day we removed all the vehicles off our server.
it was fun, but the server remained fairly empty because everyone want to blow shit up with a tank.

So i doubt that they will be playing BFBC2 for a long time.

The RvR on DAoC is pretty exciting, but you need a full team.
So I am trying to get as many of them as I can onto the game.

Yeah, a few of us joined a server the other night and found some guys practicing those shots. I don't think anyone here has really bothered to learn them, or for that matter, wanted to learn them as it defeats the purpose. We have fun with it for the most part, but not everyone plays it.

I'm sure Star Craft II will start up with us as well, though I'm not sure how strongly as it's rather expensive, and lets face it, we like free things, lol.

Free? did someone say free?


BFBC2 would be awesome if you could mod it a little.

I would either increase the respawn timer, or have like a limit to each persons amount of respawns they can do or even one life and your out like AA. Those would make the game awesome for me.

I was never a fan of spam shots even back in AA. I like seeing the people I'm about to destroy.

I have said it before: Kain and Lynch 2 looks good to me. Should get released next month and I'm excited about it.


Drift you did say you turned off tanks on your BFBC2 server.. Can you change other things??

One of my other members run our BFBC server.
I will see if i can get a list of what you can and can't do with the server.
From the sounds of it, it seems fairly flexible.
