We're a clan who enjoys playing a variety of maps and includes people from all around the world. First and foremost we believe in fair play and we require all players to play fairly. We're light on rules in the server and believe in playing the game (more or less) as it was designed and meant to be played. We play the game for fun but we also compete in and host scrims and tournaments. SiB was formed from pre-existing relationships and we believe in slow-growth, strong bonds and being a tight-knit family. As such, our recruitment is by invite only. If you're interested in getting an invite, you should join our teamspeak often, and definitely remove any old clan tags you may still be wearing.

The non-admin members of =SiB= donate US $1-5 per month to help cover, TS, web, server, tags and other costs. Our administrators pay more (US $5-$40 per month) to cover the rest of the server costs and to keep things afloat. As an interested recruit, you should know that this is an expectation during your recruit and tagged months. Depending on the server, more than the minimum may be required for admin rights.

For America's Army: To put it into perspective, an 18-slot AA server costs roughly $80/month. Now on to the questions that we have that will help us know who you are.
Left 4 Dead Servers run much cheaper around $10/month.

We have an explicit age rule, but it is mostly a check on maturity. We will consider any age recruit as long as they can follow our rules, and maintain maturity levels. At the time of this writing (05/30/08), the average age of a =SiB= member is between 30 and 35 and our youngest member is 19.

To become a tagged recruit you must:

1) Play with us and get to know us on TS - 2 weeks/20 hours.
2) Be free of tags and other clans for 4 weeks (barring special circumstance).
3) Pass a majority vote with the =SiB= clan and its current recruits. (You're going to need to get on teamspeak (http://goteamspeak.com) and/or play in-game on mic before you will able to pass this vote.)
4) Obey the full =SiB= membership rules.
5) 18 and over only (barring special circumstance).
6) Fill out a recruitment form

To go from a recruit to =SiB= you must:

1) Fill out a recruitment form (this is now a recruit requirement)
2) Pass a majority vote with the =SiB= clan.
3) Play with =SiB= on teamspeak/mic as a recruit for 2 weeks.
4) Play with =SiB= on the =SiB= servers for at least 20 hours.
5) Obey the full =SiB= membership rules.
